Your privacy matters. dit•DAHs is designed to collect as little data as possible.

Privacy-First Summary: We collect no personal data. Everything is stored locally on your device. No tracking, no cookies, no ads. You control your data completely.

What We Collect

We do not collect or store personally identifiable information.

Our analytics provider (Plausible Analytics) processes limited technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and device type) to generate anonymous aggregated statistics. These data are:

Processed transiently (not stored)
Not used to identify individual users
Not shared with third parties
Automatically anonymized

We do not attempt to identify individual users and have no technical means to do so.

No cookies, no advertising trackers, no behavioral analytics.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics — a privacy-first, cookie-free analytics tool.

What we track:

Pages you visit
How you found us (referral source)
Device type (mobile/desktop)
General location (country/city level)

What we DON'T track:

Personal information
Individual behavior across sites
Anything that identifies you

Opt-out: Enable "Do Not Track" in your browser settings. We respect Do Not Track (DNT) and will not track users who have it enabled.

Local-Only Data

The following stays on your device and is never sent to us:

User profiles (name, call sign)
Audio and practice settings
Custom mnemonics
Practice history and statistics
Layout preferences
Koch Method progress
Instructor/student data (if using Instructor Edition)

You control and can delete all local data at any time through the app or your device settings.

No Tracking

We do not use:

Cookies (Plausible is cookieless)
Advertising trackers
Social media pixels
Behavioral analytics
Cross-site tracking

Children's Privacy

dit•DAHs is not directed toward children under 13. However, because we do not collect personal data, the app may be used by minors under adult supervision and with parental consent.

For Scout troops and youth programs: Adult leaders must obtain parental consent and comply with youth protection policies.

Third-Party Services

We use minimal third-party services:

These services do not track individual users or collect personal information.

Data Security

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, security depends on your device and browser settings. We recommend:

Using a secure, up-to-date browser
Enabling device lock/password protection
Regular backups of important data

Your Rights

Because we don't collect personal data:

There's no data to request or delete from us
You control your local data entirely
No opt-out needed (we don't track you)

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with an updated effective date. We will never collect personal data without your explicit consent.
